Physics In Context
A one-year course developed jointly by CORD and Energy Concepts, that is designed to bring physics to all students. The suggestions and recommendations of teachers have been incorporated to produce a course that will meet the student achievement goals and requirements of many states. This contextual physics course is designed for ninth thru twelfth graders as part of a Pre-Engineering or other Career/Technical program.
Physics in Context integrates mechanical, fluid, electrical, and thermal energy systems in an approach to learning that allows students to explore, experiment and apply physics to real-life applications and situations. Students learn contextually with computer data-acquisition and classroom-proven interactive labs. A lab manual, student journal, and lab instructor's guide go along with the hardcover text and teacher's guide.
Energy Concepts provides complete laboratory equipment packages. We also offer custom laboratory furniture, and storage solutions. The furniture is designed to stand up to years of use. A foam storage system keeps equipment organized and provides easy inventory control.
