The 48170 trainer introduces students to the building blocks of digital circuits. They learn about digital logic and how digital circuits work in many systems such as digital displays and alarm systems. The outstanding design challenge experiments will require students to apply acquired knowledge and skills to problem-solving exercises.

The computer software is filled with animations that show real-life applications. Other software features include immediate feedback on quiz questions, and a password-protected grade book.
